There's More than potatoes in Idaho

Julie's Story

Julie was born in Burley to RDean and Opal the second of three children. A older brother and a younger sister was an opportunity to learn how to confront teasing and to protect innocence. Also how to be a mediator. Julie grew up in a wonderful home that even included a grandma, her mom's mother.
A large pasture next door allowed Julie to learn how to milk cows, raise chickens and learn to love dogs and cats. One day as her older brother was playing with a BB gun, Julie was down the lane from the house. Julie called out to him, daring him to hit her. He shot and she screamed with pain as the lobbing BB hit her in the belly. She never dared "Wild Bill" again.
Tall for her age, Julie ever was the leader of the Pleasant View Gang. She also loved to surprise her parents with a clean kitchen and living room. Julie loved to go with her little sister on a early morning trip to a cafe that served hot cinnamon rolls and hot cocoa. An honor roll student that looked real hot in her school dresses, Julie always was quick with a smile and a helpful hand. Attending as a "Bobkitten" gave Julie good friends and warm
memories. She strayed from the nest too far and had her heart become under sieged by a spartan.
Julie was insistant on having her marriage be united with religion and that religion to be the same of each party. She was a member of a christian church and had attended some LDS services as well. She decided to hear the LDS discussions in order to make up her mind. After accepting the gosple Julie was baptise a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Julie has loved the church for teaching her the importance of family, standards and truth. She always tried to be the mother to her children that would be there for them in all things.
I believe that there is not a more devoted mother in the whole world. You children are very blessed to have such a mom. Julie has served in many callings but the calling of mom she loves the best.
